Filmworks7 provides creative, custom California location services for film, music video, television, commercial, and photography shoots. We have the skills, artistic sense, and local knowledge to serve both national and international clients.
We start off by studying the script and then breaking down the locations. Then we talk with the director and/or production designer to understand what the vision is for each location and for the overall shoot.
Next, we get into action by researching options. At this point we live and breathe your project. We have our radar on, day and night, finding possibilities that may be the perfect sites for your project. We may also use resources such as internet databases, and local offerings, however we find that most of our clients prefer unique, creative locations and that is our specialty.
Once we have some potential matches, we will take pictures and upload them to your own private online gallery. After you select the ones you like, we can make arrangements for you to visit in person or if that is not possible or desired, we will go back to take more pictures and to do more in depth research based on your specifications of light, surroundings, cost, etc.
Once you make your final selection, we are also available to help negotiate a contract with the location owners to secure the location.
